Animal Behaviour College Certified Cat Trainer (ABCCT)
Purrsuasion is proudly owned by Tori Schlosser, a certified cat trainer, Métis woman, and dedicated cat advocate. She was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and has surrounded herself with all things "cat" since before she can remember.
Tori grew up with a deep desire to improve the lives of cats. After some soul-searching, she decided to follow her passion. She now works to inspire people to understand what makes every part of their cats special, nurture confidence in their kitties, and show how respect and compassion can enhance every cat’s life. With her drive—and inspired by Jackson Galaxy, other cat trainers, and her beloved kitties, Riah and Siberia—Tori founded Purrsuasion in 2016. This marked the start of her journey toward building the best possible bond between cats and their people.
She received her cat training certification from Animal Behavior College in April of 2018 and has continued to build her business with that experience under her belt. Tori also achieved her Fear Free Certified Professional title in 2024.
Tori also takes pride in the many cat centered events she has co-hosted with Regina's Excalipurr Cat Café, being a part of CBC's Blue Sky Radio Feline-Line, having the privilege to teach students of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon about cat training, and many teaching opportunities through other organizations. Tori has been featured in numerous articles, including articles on the CBC website, inside the Globe and Mail, in the online magazine, Mental Floss, and on other blogs across the web.
